Winter Field Day 2022 – Updated

Saturday, Jan 29, 2 PM EST to Sunday, Jan 30, 2 PM EST 2022.

A couple new things:

We found out this week that some ARROW club members have also rented a cabin at Brighton Rec Area for the weekend.  We’ll be coordinating with them for bands and operating times as to not cause interference with each other.  It will also be nice to visit with more hams potentially.

The COVID procedure for this year:

Please wear a mask when indoors (voice operators excepted while on the air)

Sign-in and Sign-out time on the attendance sheet (for contact tracing, if necessary)

Both clubs have the same procedures.

Weather forecast looks cold!  Bundle up in layers!

For anyone wanting to participate from home:  There is a flyer detailing the setup of N1MM and the pertinent rules.

The official deadline to submit logs is March 1, but we’d like to discuss and present the WFD results and highlights in the February club meeting.  Personal logs will still need to be submitted by each operator to the WFD website, but we’d like to receive copies at events@slaarc.com so we can compile club members’ results.

Anyone wanting more info should contact N8LEK via email n8lek.radio@gmail.com
