All SLAARC Members,
It should be obvious to all of us, that due to the Coronavirus Lockdown in Michigan we will be unable to celebrate Christmas at Zuke Lake Tavern this year on Sunday, December 13th . On the bright side, things are looking very favorable for this situation not lasting very much longer due to the anticipated availability of a vaccine in the near future.
In lieu of a Christmas Party Gathering on Sunday, December 13th, we will instead have a regular SLAARC Monthly Informational Zoom Meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Since winter is almost here, and the dead of winter is the BEST time to do Antenna Work; Bob (WA8MZX) will take us through a construction project for a low-cost broadband hex beam antenna. The antenna’s design is aimed at the technician’s phone allocations in the 6- and 10-meter bands.
I look forward to seeing all of you “virtually” at the December meeting.
