This weekend it’s time for another Support Your Parks Event!
We’re meeting on Detroit’s Historic Belle Isle for the Fall Edition of the Support Your Parks Event. As with all of our Parks on the Air events, everyone is welcome to attend, club member or not (Bring a Buddy!). We expect to have a few folks coming out and bringing their radio and antenna, so if you can’t pack (or don’t have a radio!) – there will be a radio on the island someone is happy to help you activate the park with!
Some coordination details you’ll find useful:
Time: 10am – 3pm Saturday October 18, 2025.
We’ll be monitoring the WR8DAR DTE Building Repeater on our way into the City:
Frequency: 145.330 (-600) 100hz PL.
We’ll be meeting at the Ralph Wilson Gateway & Trail Parking lot:

We will be activating nearby the trail, in the field adjacent to the parking lot. If you attended last year, we’re using the same spot again, as we’ll have antennas setup, and it provides ample parking away from the larger crowds.
There will not be any food served this year, So be sure to bring your own refreshments or snacks out to the island!
